64gb is 2x overkill. Yes, I would not go higher then 32 GB to be on the safe side with future releases, just very little point in 64 GB for gaming currently. So if that system is going to last you a while may as well go for 32 if able. 16gb is plenty.

Laptops are often impossible to upgrade because it's challenging to take them apart and put them back together. Also, many laptops have custom parts that you can't replace with ones off the shelf. I prefer Dell over Lenovo. In my experience, Dells tend to be easier to work on than Lenovos, and that's huge when you're managing a fleet of laptops (and desktops). I've also had great experiences with Dell sales reps and tech support during my time at my last job.Nov 21, 2023
